Atlanta!

So, our first relaxing weekend in Georgia was actually just Easter weekend, and on Saturday, we drove down to Atlanta. We had planned on seeing the aquarium, but found out that its actually a pretty big deal- not like the one in Virginia Beach. We actually have to budget in time AND money to do that. So we decided on a picnic lunch at Cenntenial Olympic Park and a tour of the Margaret Mitchell house (Gone with the Wind fan that I am). Unfortunately, by the time the picnic was done and we walked around the park a little, it was already late in the afternoon. Little did we know that there was a Braves home game that evening, so trying to drive down to the Margaret Mitchell house (only about 10 minutes without traffic) gave me such a headache that we went home instead.

Oh, but we HAD to stop by the PGA Tour Superstore for Daniel, on the way.
The most famous street in Atlanta.

A beautiful park, in the heart of Atlanta

We had lunch first thing. Bridget liked it.

While we ate, we enjoyed the Olympic Rings Fountain.
Then Daddy took Bridget into one of the rings. She didn't like it so much.

Then it was Mommy's turn. We did NOT go into one of the rings.
Last, we stopped at the golf superstore for Daniel. Bridget just liked the big golf ball.

Sounds like you'll fit in quite well down there. *smiles* You should probably change your location on your profile, though.
